As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I have the privilege of listening to the stories of people from diverse backgrounds, each possessing unique strengths and coping techniques. While I know they will eventually find their way out of being stuck or overwhelmed, my role is to help them reach that point sooner.

My job is to listen to your story in a way that helps you gain deeper understanding and to provide you with the tools and encouragement needed to address your current challenges.

I help individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, life crises, and particularly challenging circumstances due to trauma, difficult relationships, loss, or disability.  Additionally, I have a special interest in supporting families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Colleen’s Training & Education

Since completing my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at City University, I have taken extra training in working with families affected by domestic abuse, trauma care, and in parenting education.  I am also a registered provider for the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP), the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), the Metis Nation of BC (MNBC) and the SPCA Cruelty Investigatory Team.
