Not accepting new clients at this time
As a counsellor, I believe change, growth and healing are possible and that people are naturally wired for such progress. At the same time, I recognize that the person you are today has been formed by your past experiences and environments. They have profoundly impacted how you see yourself, how you see the world and how you function in your life today.
While I am not taking any more new clients into my schedule, I facilitate the Tapestry Team to further the healing, recovery and supportive work being done here. My expectations are that you will be heard by every person you connect with here at Tapestry, and that you will be treated with dignity and respect. You will experience excellent counselling services and you will be guided ever closer to your goals for change and healing.
Devony’s Training & Education
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. I have focused my counselling work on the healing and recovery from trauma and past childhood abuse in adults. I have specialized training in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and can support the Tapestry Team in many different therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am also a registered provider for the SPCA Cruelty Investigatory Team.
