Counselling is like a journey, and I am simply a fellow traveller - I will walk beside you for a time, giving you genuine acceptance, respect, and support. I believe you will naturally grow in positive ways when you are affirmed and supported.

In counselling, you will be invited to explore your situation in a way that reveals your core values and innate strengths, and ultimately what is truly meaningful to you in life. We will work collaboratively, and tailor the process of counselling to your particular needs and goals, and together we will find ways to bring healing and transformation to your life.

I have been practicing as a counsellor for over 30 years. I hold a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia, and I am registered with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors. I have worked in a variety of settings, such as non-profit agencies, government child-protection services, and private practice counselling centres.

I have expertise in recovery from abusive and traumatic experiences, with a particular specialization in healing from childhood abuse. To help with this work, I have advanced training in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).

I am also a registered provider for the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP), Metis Nation of BC (MNBC) and the SPCA Cruelty Investigatory Team.
