With 24 years of practice, I aim to help you understand your experiences and develop resources to navigate the ups and downs in your life.
I have specialized training in therapeutic techniques that guide you in focusing on solutions, transforming unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, and enhancing emotional management. I am equipped to lead you to improve self-regulation and cultivate mindfulness to promote overall well-being.
Monika’s Training & Education
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors. I have worked for over 20 years at various social service agencies with a primary focus on the fields of substance abuse and mental health. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Certificate in Substance Abuse Counselling, and a Master’s degree of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I am also a registered provider for the SPCA Cruelty Investigatory Team and the Metis Nation of BC (MNBC).
