For many years, I’ve been dedicated to supporting people as they heal from trauma, understanding that trauma affects not only the individual but also their relationships, sense of self, and ability to move through the world. In our work together, we’ll explore and process these layers while highlighting and building on your unique strengths. My goal is to work with you to rebuild a sense of safety and agency, empowering you to thrive in the goals we set together. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities to best support your unique needs, recognizing that no single approach works for everyone.

Together, we’ll tailor our sessions to meet you where you are and move forward at your pace. My approach is holistic and integrated, honouring the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I consider the social and systemic factors influencing your mental health, including culture, identity, family dynamics, and socio-political stressors. I understand therapy is an investment, and sometimes it’s hard to know where to begin, but I am committed to helping you get the most out of the experience.

Having had the privilege of studying under experts in the field, Indigenous Elders, and members from a wide range of cultural communities, I aim to create an affirming and accepting space. I am committed to decolonizing my work, challenging systemic frameworks, and integrating practices that honour ancestral wisdom, collective healing, and cultural strengths.

I hold a Master's Degree in Counselling from McGill University in Montréal, and I have worked in the mental health field since 2015.

I have formal training in psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems, Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Somatics, and Trauma-Informed Practice, among others. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (Level 2).

I am licensed as a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, and have been a registered Canadian Certified Counsellor under the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association since 2022.

I am also a registered provider for the Metis Nation of BC (MNBC), and the SPCA Cruelty Investigatory Team.
